Hugh Jackman and Deborra-Lee Furness, one of Hollywood's most enduring couples, have announced their separation after 27 years of marriage
They have two adopted children together, Oscar and Ava .Oscar Maximilian was adopted in May of 2000 and Ava Eliot was adopted in July 2005.
In a joint statement, Jackman and Furness said they had decided to separate to "pursue our individual growth." They added that their family remains their "highest priority.
The couple has asked for privacy during this difficult time.
